The i5 has a medium-frequency trans-gun rated at 14,500A with 1,243 lbs (565 daN) of electrode force, AUTO and MANUAL two-sided spot welding modes, automatic measuring and sensing of the metals before welding, a double-acting self-aligning spot gun, water-cooled weld arms, a C-to-X adapter, a full-color interface, on-board cabinet storage and single-sided welding programs.
